"Up in the Air" is schedule for sometime in December but will premiere at this year's Toronto Film Festival on September 12th. "The Lovely Bones" hits theatres on December 11th. There's also new photos for Jason Reitman's "Up in the Air". The Lovely Bones is a 2009 supernatural thriller drama film directed by Peter Jackson from a screenplay he co-wrote with Fran Walsh and Philippa Boyens.It is based on Alice Sebold's 2002 novel of the same name and stars Mark Wahlberg, Rachel Weisz, Susan Sarandon, Stanley Tucci, Michael Imperioli, and Saoirse Ronan. As badly as the trailer mislead to folks thinking this film is a mystery-thriller, these images convey the sense I received from the book and I hope they'll lure people back into seeing the movie. You see the image at the top of this article from Peter Jackson's "The Lovely Bones" features Susie Salmon (Saiorsie Ronan) looking out over her "Personal Heaven"? That's my new desktop. Those sites hate America.īut since Collider loves America, we're bringing you these images, not only untarnished by our admittedly-awesome logo, but in high-resolution. I don't want to say that the sites that ran these images as exclusives hate America, but I'm going to. You deserve better, these films deserve better, and AMERICA deserves better.
Just as a warning, you've seen a couple of these "new" images before but they had ugly, gigantic logos on them and that's not the way they were meant to be seen.
